Welcome to the Faculty of Law
The Faculty of Law trains advocates, solicitors and counsels through a blend of doctrinal rigour and hands-on practice. From the first term, students plead in our moot court, staff the community legal clinic and learn procedure by doing it.
Small seminar groups, sitting judges as visiting tutors, and placements with leading firms mean our graduates enter practice with judgement, drafting skill and professional character.

Inside the Programme
Core Curriculum
Contracts, torts, constitutional and criminal law taught in small seminars with weekly advocacy exercises and written feedback on every submission.

Our community legal clinic handles real matters under supervision, while the moot programme competes nationally each spring.

A dedicated careers tutor arranges pupillages, firm placements and bar-preparation pathways, with mock interviews every term.
